In a village there was a lego figure named Jeff that was going to the forest looking for a hawk named Scott. The hawk was ten foot tall and scared everyone away from the forest so Jeff wanted it vanquished from the forest. So Jeff went with a net and an apple. When he got to the forest he started looking for the hawk, when he turned the corner the hawk was right there. So Jeff threw the net at Scott the hawk and got him and put an apple in its mouth and lived happily ever after.

Travis, you have created an interesting problem and a character that was ready to solve it! I like your use of the word vanquished. Jeff was able to vanquish the hawk with the net and the apple. I would like to know more about how the apple helped. I feel that your ending (and lived happily ever after) is a little abrupt and perhaps not necessary. It would have been interesting if your last sentence tied back to the problem of people not being able to go in the forest.
